Spontaneous response for Press Conference and Procession for Dharmasabha at Bangalore

Bangalore (Karnataka): Hindu Janajagruti Samiti held a Press Conference at the Press Club of Bangalore in connection with the forthcoming Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha to be held in Rajajinagar here.

Mr. Chandra Moger, Convener, HJS Bangalore and Mr. Chetan Janardhan, Convener,  HJS Andhra Pradesh took part in the press meet. Mr. Chandra Moger gave examples of denigration in recent days like the programme by News 24 Channel Maharashtra, where Sachin Tendulkar was shown as Lord Sree Ram. ‘Sachin Charitmanas’ being sung on the lines of Sree Ramcharitmanas. 

Showing illicit relationship between Lord Sree Krishna and Draupadi, in the novel ‘Draupadi’ written by Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad, thereby hurting the religious sentiments of the Hindus. The Central Government sponsored Sahitya Academy has given an award to this novel showing clear insensitiveness to the feelings of Hindus. He also mentioned the ill effects of Temple takeover giving the recent incident in Pandarpur where the trustees sold the cows from the Temple Goshala to slaughter house owners. The reason given for the sale being that these cows were not generating income to the temple.

Mr. Chetan also mentioned the plight of the 2.5 Lakhs Hindus Most of them – Scheduled Caste who migrated to Jammu & Kashmir and questioned as to why Human right activists are not concerned about this group though they have not been integrated into the National Main Stream even after the lapse of 63 years since the country had got freedom.

Giving recent examples of attacks on the Hindus, and also the Police IGP by Muslims in Agra and the burning of houses of tribals by Muslims in Birbhum, West Bengal, Mr. Chetan stressed the need of Hindus to be ready to protect them and invited them to join the Dharma Shakti Sena and the Ranaragini.

Mr. Chandra concluded that the Sequence of events unfolding show the urgent need for Hindus to unite  keeping their caste, creed, language tag etc. The Samiti was striving to educate the Hindus about Righteousness and thereby making them Righteous he said.
The details of the meet was covered by reporters of C  – Bangalore Channel and  KF Channel . The reporter from Bangalore News Network Website called up to inform the details of the HJS Sabha. Its has been hosted on their News site Portal. The Kannada vernacular dailies Udayani,  Sanjevani, Vijay Karnataka and Telugu Daily Vartha gave details about the Press conference and the Dharma Sabha on the 7th.

Highlights :

When the meet was in progress, observing a group of video camera men sitting on the lawns in the Press Club Premises one of the HJS volunteers gave them the Press note and requested them to cover the Press meet and also the Dharma Sabha. Mr.  N. Janardhan Editor of voice of India , Kannada Daily replied “there is no need to request but you should order for such a good cause”. Later the camera men covered the Press meet and also took separate interview of  Mr. Chandra Moger and Mr. Chetan Janardhan.  Representative of C Bangalore offered to take a half hour interview programme in due course. N. Janardhan  Editor of  Voice of India , Kannada Daily invited HJS members for detailed talks.

Earlier on 5th of May 7, 2010 a Procession was held in the Main streets of Rajajinagar with street corner meetings About 30 Devout Hindus participated in this.

Highlights

One Devout Hindu shopkeeper highly impressed by the procession and the corner lectures given by the HJS members sent his two children aged 10 and 11 years to participate in the procession.
