Devout Hindus attend the planning meeting on proposed Dharmasabha at Solapur

Solapur : On 4th December, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has proposed to hold Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha (sabha). A meeting was held at Hingul Ambika Mandir in Sakharpeth in this connection to make planning for success of this ‘sabha’. The meeting was attended by 55 devout Hindus and different pro-Hindu organizations. Many participants promised to extend support for the ‘sabha’. Several devout Hindus expressed their views on this occasion. Sou. Alka Vhanmare of ‘Ranaragini’ Division gave information on propagation of this ‘sabha’.

Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, Maharashtra State Coordinator of HJS explained the nature and needs of holding such ‘sabha’. He explained about the proposed vehicle procession after which Shri. Sidram Charakupalli and Shri. Yogiraj Jadgonar said that they would arrange for 250 vehicles to participate in the procession.

Views expressed by dignitaries

Former BJP- municipal councilor Bapu Dhage said, “We are not getting total success in our efforts of working for protection of Hindu Dharma and nation because the strength acquired through undertaking spiritual practice is inadequate. If we practise spirituality in proper manner, the success will not be far. All Hindu brethren should attend the ‘sabha’.” Shiv Sena city-Chief Pratap Chavan said, “Unity amongst Hindus is the need of the hour to prevent attacks on Hindu Dharma. Shiv Sainiks will try their best for success of this sabha.”

Resolve made by devout Hindus attending the meeting

To hold 75 meetings; posters to be displayed on rickshaws- 400; to be displayed in city – 300; will provide 3 vehicles 2 days prior to the ‘sabha’ for carrying material required for the ‘sabha’; copies will be taken out for necessary papers for free; 300 youth to be associated with vehicle procession; saffron flags to be displayed on 400 auto-rickshaws.

Shri. Sunil Ghanavat was addressing the participants when hooting of ‘baang’ was started in the vicinity. He said, “We have to listen to such ‘baang’ so many times during the day. We have to demand with the local administration for ban on the loudspeakers as required under the law.”
