Subjects can be protected only when the Ruler is a patriot ! – Prof. Rajendra Thakur

Manerajuri (Sangli, Maharashtra): Today’s rulers should keep Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as their ideal. The ‘sanskars’ have to be inculcated in us for protection of Dharma. The present education system has been developing a weak youth. If the ruler is a patriot, only then the subjects will be protected. The above guidance was given by Prof. Rajendra Thakur from Uttur in Kolhapur District when he addressed the Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha at Manerajuri in Tasgaon taluka.

The ‘Sabha’ which was held on 7th May 2010 on the grounds next to Mahavir Pandurang Salunkhe High School, was attended by about 1000 devout Hindus. Shri. Rahul Kadam of HJS and Miss Pratibha Tavare of ‘Ranaragini’ also addressed the ‘Sabha’.

Highlights

1. A group of 50-60 Muslim youth was standing at a distance from the venue of the ‘sabha’ to hear what was being said (This incident shows how alert are the Muslim youth of ‘jihadi’ mentality and how much alertness Hindus have to develop ! – Editor SP)

2. One Muslim youth tried to enter the venue but as he was asked to apply ‘tila’ on his forehead he backed out. (One Muslim dares to enter the ‘sabha’ where 1000 Hindus are present, shows their ‘jihadi’ mentality ! – Editor SP)
