Chariot of HJS creates awareness among Hindus in Shiva-jayanti rally

Shirol (Dist. Kolhapur, Maharashtra): In the rally taken out yesterday on the occasion of Shiv-jayanti, a chariot of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) also took part. Few incidents from the life-history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj were displayed with the help of digital boards. The workers of HJS participated in the rally wearing traditional clothes. They distributed invitation cards about Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha scheduled here on 28th May at Shirol.  

The group of Jaibhavani Tarun Mandal was drawing attention among all participants. They had brought a big statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj for display. There were different groups in the rally, some playing cymbals and even elephants and horses were there. The rally was welcomed by the women’s section of HJS which was organized by Mr. Pravin Jadhav.

Highlights

1. The devout Hindus from Arag (Miraj Taluka) were impressed with the display boards of HJS and asked for similar boards for display in their village.
