Reduction in the number of Goa governments list of unauthorised religious places after a repeat survey

Success of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s revolution for awareness of the protection of temples!

Pananji (Goa): Under the guidance of both the collectors of the state, the district committees after a repeat survey has presented a new list of unauthorised religious places. In this list 200 places have been declared as unauthorised whereas the  government  had declared 867 places as unauthorised in the earlier list.(So much difference in the list? If the devout Hindus would not have insisted for the repeat survey the people would have to sacrifice so many of the religious places. What action is the government going to take against the person who have committed such grave mistakes regarding the religious faith ?- Editor SP)

Due to the movement started by  Hindu Janajagruti Samiti for the protection of the temples in the state, all the chair persons of the temples and devout Hindus got united and  this issue had to be taken up seriously by the government and so there was a drastic reduction in the list of unauthorised religious places after a repeat survey. This was declared in the paper published by the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.

In the discussions of government with the chair person of unauthorised temples during the repeat survey, the government has planned about shifting many of such temples to a new place and also religious places present in public areas were omitted from the list so there is great reduction in number of unauthorised construction.

Hindus pay gratitude at the feet of God for this success. But do not be satisfied with this success, demolish the plan of Goa government of destroying your old heritage places which were in existence hundreds of years before the establishment of Goa government.
