Solapur : Police serve notice to HJS volunteers

Speakers making an appeal to celebrate ‘Shaurya Din’ during Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha was the excuse !

  • Please note that the police, who are harassing ‘Hindutvavadis’ by issuing notice today for making appeal to celebrate ‘Shaurya Din’, may impose ban on every program in future, which will revive brave history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj !
  • Police showing guts in issuing notices to ‘Hindutvavadis’, never show such guts by issuing notices to fanatic leaders and Mulla-Maulavis who openly talk about eliminating Hindus in public rallies !

Solapur : Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha was held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on 4th December on the grounds of Haribhai Devakaran Prashala. Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, Maharashtra State Coordinator of HJS made an appeal to participants for celebrating 6th December as ‘Shaurya Din’. Police have now issued notice to HJS volunteers for the appeal made during the ‘sabha’; warning them that they would be held responsible for any untoward incident taking place due to such appeal.

1. Shri. Sunil Ghanavat had said in the ‘sabha’ that on 6thDecember Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj had pulled out guts of Afzal Khan who was the enemy of ‘Hindavi Swaraj’ and on the same day, millions of Dharmaveer Hindus had staged successful movement in Ayodhya despite huge police and army patrolling under Congress regime; therefore, all Hindus should celebrate this day as ‘Shaurya Din’. In fact, there is no ban under law to display picture of Afzal Khan’s slaying; but there is undeclared ban on such display. It is the day of bravery for Hindus and pulling out guts is true history; therefore, one can display banners with such pictures or get such scene printed on their clothes.

2. It has been stated in the notice issued by the police to HJS volunteers that the said picture had earlier created law and order problem in the State. Therefore, here also similar problem could be created. On this day, people gather on the occasion of ‘Mahaparinirvan Din’ in large number. If your appeal caused any untoward incident, you would be held responsible and action would be taken against you; therefore, keep away from such programs.

3. In the notice, reference is made to pulling out Aurangzeb’s guts instead of Afzal Khan’s guts. (Police were in such hurry to issue notice to HJS volunteers that they even forgot Chhatrapati’s history ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

4. Shri. Hiralal Tiwari, a volunteer of HJS was called from another HJS volunteer’s phone by police at 9.00 p.m. asking him to go to Sadar Bazar police station and he was served notice under 149.

5. On 6th December at 9.30 a.m., Sou. Rajashree Tiwari of HJS received phone twice from Vijapur Naka police station. She was asked her address; then she was asked to come out of her house and was questioned.

6. Police said to Sou. Tiwari that if such programs were held, permission would not be granted in future. Why appeal is made to Hindus in ‘sabha’? When she asked police about the appeal, she was narrated part of the speeches made in ‘sabha’. Sou. Tiwari, therefore, asked whether it was a crime to tell true history. Police made inquiry of even other speakers of the ‘sabha’.

7. A Dy. Police Inspector and 3 policemen came for inquiry. After they left, two other policemen came and served notice under 149.

8. In this notice, name of Aurangzeb appeared instead of Afzal Khan. On realizing the error, police asked Sou. Tiwari to return the notice but she refused; so police made corrections in the same notice and gave it back. Similar correction was made even in the notice served to Shri. Hiralal Tiwari.

9. Police served notice under 149 to Shri. Yogesh Turerao on 5thDecember in the afternoon who had printed invitation cards of the ‘sabha’. His printing press was surveyed. He was asked how many cards were printed; whether any provoking matter was printed; whether anything was printed with picture showing Afzal Kahn’s slaying etc. Shri. Turerao said that HJS activities were good and he was helping them since last 4 years. (Congratulations to Shri. Turerao for boldly facing police inquiry !
