Issue of Pandharpur Temple Committee : HJS agitates at Sambhajinagar

HJS members and devout Hindus submitting memorandum to Dy. District Collector

Sambhajinagar (Maharashtra): The Temple Committee at Pandharpur has sold 2 cows received by the temple in donation to butchers. On behalf of the Hindu Janjagruti Samiti, a protest procession was carried out in front of the District Collectors office. Later a memorandum requesting a thorough enquiry into this matter was handed over to the Deputy District magistrate.

At this time H.B.P. Mrs Snehalata Kharat from the Vaarkari community, Mayor of Sambhajinagar Mrs Anita Ghodile, Deputy District Chief of Shiv Sena Mr. Nandkumar Ghodele, Mr. Sanjay Patil – Sambhaji Peth Section Chief for Shiv Sena, Mr. Subash Kumavat of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Mr. Sachin Vadepatil of Peshwa Yuwa Manch, Mr. Datta Khot – Editor of weekly ‘Lokgunjan’, Mr. Sanket Kulkarni of Abhinav Nirman Pratisthan, Mrs Chaya Deshpande of Sanatan Sanstha, and representing Hindu Janjagruti Samiti were Mr. Sankar Jadhav, Mr. Nilesh Potdar, Mr. Maruti Aagle, Mr. Arjun Aagle, Mr. Bhaginath Pawar, Mr. Mahendra Rajput, Mr. Prakash Snehasagar, Mr. Samir Dnyate and Mr. Vaibhav Kulkarni were present.
