Hindu organizations plan to oppose the play and film based on the life of M. F. Hussain

Mumbai: A decision has been taken in a recent meeting held by Hindu Organizations to start a campaign against a play ?Pencil se Brush tak’ glorifying life of anti-Hindu painter M. F. Hussain. Mr. Hussain has drawn obscene paintings of Hindu deities and Bharatmata.

The meeting was attended by members of Bajarang Dal, Hindu Human Rights Commission, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) etc. M. F. Hussain has drawn obscene paintings of Hindu deities and desecrated the deities and a case has been filed against him. Hussain, an accused wanted by the police, is presently absconding. The above-referred play directed by Smt. Nadira Babbar glorifies his life. Most of the artists acting in the play are Hindus. It was decided that henceforth, the play will not be allowed to be staged. Further course of action was decided in the said meeting.

It has been learnt that very soon, a film is going to be made on the life of Hussain and the main role of Hussain will be played by Shri. Shreyas Talaade, a cine artiste. It has been decided to oppose even making of the film. The meeting ended with a prayer to Lord Ganesh for His grace and for the success of the agitation.
