Nashik (Maharashtra): A lecture was organized at Bhagur on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Swatanryaveer Savarkar on 31st May. First, all devout Hindus went in a procession from Shivaji Chowk till the house of Swatantryaveer Savarkar, carrying lighted torches. The door to his house was garlanded with all devout Hindus raising slogans hailing Swatantryaveer Savarkar. Then the torch was carried to venue of the program where statue of Savarkar was garlanded and Mr. Eknath Shete of VHP and Mr. Sunil Ghanavat of HJS lighted the lamps.
Mr. Shete said, “Our apathy is taking us to destruction. The population of Hindus is going down because we fall short of protecting our Dharma. Is it a crime to protect the Dharma in which one is born?” he asked the audience.
Mr. Ghanavat of HJS said, “We have forgotten Savarkar. Had we followed the path as prescribed by Savarkar, our country would have remained undivided. Every youth needs to offer some part of his life for Dharma only then can we change the future of this country. Future of such country is in danger where the youth forget their history. The youth who remember their history, has the capacity to change their geography. “
The program received valuable cooperation from Bajarang Dal, Sheetalamata Mandal, Shetkari Yuvak Mitra Mandal, Renuka Mitra Mandal, Jai Bajarang Mitra Mandal, Friends circle etc. After the program got over, devout Hindus attending the program expressed their readiness to take part in the activities involving protection of Nation and Dharma.
