Ujjain : Every student going to ‘Vedapathashala’ should undertake spiritual practice along with study of ‘Vedas’ and acquire Guru’s grace. Practising spirituality generates ‘bhav’ towards God so also strength due to worship. Such ‘Brahmatej’ is required for establishing ‘Rama-rajya’ in Bharat; so be ‘Purohits’ who would re-establish Vedic Dharma, stated ‘Pujya’ Dr. Charudatta Pingale, national Guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) while addressing students from ‘Shri-Rhushi Gurukul’. Shri. Devakaran Sharma (Dev), the Founder of Gurukul and Shri. Ramakrushna Pauranik, its Trustee shared the dais with him.

‘Pujya’ Dr. Charudatta Pingale said, “The Universe was created with the help of sound. So, the first is sound, from sound was created ‘akshar (alphabet)’, from ‘akshar’ was created word and then pronunciation (meaning) of word. Similarly, the sound created by reciting ‘Veda-mantras’, though one may not know the meanings, purifies mind of those reciting such ‘mantras’”.

Students should become witness to India’s revival ! – Devakaran Sharma

Shri. Devakaran Sharma said, “Creation of Era needs creation of people. One needs to get rid of laziness, narrow-mindedness, desires etc and turn life into gold on the basis of spiritual strength. Muslims and the British have spoilt our system. Now, students should take initiative in revival of Bharat.”

Shri. Ramakrushna Pauranik said on the occasion, “Today, we have to strive for making Hindu Dharma very powerful. When we become powerful, those, who have drifted apart from us, will come close again.”

How Shri-Rhushi Gurukul was founded !

Shri. Devakaranji Sharma (Dev), the Founder of ‘Shri-Rhushi Gurukul’ said about its foundation, “I had decided to work for Sanatan Dharma since I was studying in college. I opted for voluntary retirement in the year 2003 and bought place for Gurukul out of Rs. 11 lakhs I received at the time of retirement and planted more than 400 trees. Today, there is ‘Gou-shala’, ‘Veda-Pathashala’, Shiva-Mandir, Bhojan-shala and accommodation for teachers and students. ‘Yandya-shala’ is also under construction. Presently, ‘Shukla Yajurveda’ and ‘Atharva-Veda’ are taught in the ‘Veda-Pathashala’. It is future plan to teach all 4 ‘Vedas’ here; so also devise value-based curriculum like that of Gurukul, all over the country.”
