Nipani (Dist. Belgaum) : With the initiative of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), Shri. Rajesh Killedar of ‘Rajashree Chitramandir’, a theatre at Nipani, was given a representation against release of Hindi film ‘Raees’ which has Pakistani artists. Shri. Killedar gave positive response to the activists; promising them of not screening the above film and instructed his staff to remove the posters of ‘Raees’.
More than 40 ‘Hindutvavadis’ including Shri. Vishal Hattaragi, city-Chief of Shiv Sena, Shri. Pranav Manavi, city-Chief of BJP, Shri. Sagar Mankar, Shri. Amit Shinde of ‘Shivapratishthan’, Shri. Shrinivas Chavan, city-Chief of Sriram Sena and its Shri. Sagar Shrikhande, Shri. Niwas Powar, Shri. Vikas Lokare of ‘Sambhajiraje’ group, Shri. Amit Misal of Basawan nagar Ganesh Mandal; Sou. Alka Patil, Sou. Deepa Salunkhe of Ranaragini Division; Shri. Kiran Duse and Shri. Sandip Jadhav of HJS were present on the occasion. Kolhapur) : Films like ‘Raees’ with Pakistani artists and ‘Mohalla Assi’ that makes mockery of Bhagavan Shiva and holy place like Shrikshetra Kashi should not be released was the demand made through representation submitted to Shri. Vijay Premchand Shah, Manager of ‘Premchand Chitramandir’, a theatre; by Shri. Kiran Kulkarni, city-Chief of Shiv Sena, Shri. Pranit Kannur, Taluka Colleges-Chief of RSS and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) volunteers, under initiative of HJS.
