There is no involvement of ‘Sanatan’ in Malegaon blast & the conspiracy to kill RSS Chief : ATS

Mumbai: Jitendra Avhad, the NCP MLA had made a totally false allegation in the budgetary session of the Legislative Assembly against ‘Sanatan’ that it had connections with ‘ISI’, Pakistan and had planned to kill Mr. Mohan Bhagavat, the Sarsanghchalak of RSS. He had also made a demand to impose ban on ‘Sanatan’. An application was sent to the Home Ministry of Maharashtra Government under ‘RTI’ to bring forth the truth before people. ATS has explained that ‘Sanatan’ was in no way involved in any of the above cases. This explanation has brought Avhad’s hypocrisy to light and has proved that he had deliberately made such false allegations against a pro-Hindu organization to malign it. We demand that he renders a public apology for unnecessarily defaming Sanatan in the State Legislative Assembly thereby misguiding people.

Mr. Avhad had tried to even connect Sanatan with the bomb blast at Malegaon in his wild allegations and the same thing is being done by controversial persons like Abu Azmi; but under ‘RTI’, ATS has given an important explanation that none of the members of ‘Sanatan’ was involved in the bomb blast that took place in the year 2008 at Malegaon.

The elected representatives of the people, who claim to be secular, are directly accusing Hindus in order to gain cheap publicity and votes of minorities. How will they make good the loss incurred by a nationalist and social organization like ‘Sanatan’ owing to their baseless accusations? They should, as a responsible elected representative of the people, at least issue a public apology and try to make an honest effort to partly compensate for the defamation. Also, NCP should declare what action the party proposes to take against such irresponsible people’s representatives.
