25-year-old registered Ganesh temple demolished by PCMC

  • Anti-Hindu governance of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC)
  • It is so infuriating that anti-Hindu administration which has no guts to demolish unauthorized constructions of non-Hindus, deliberately attack Hindus’ faiths by demolishing authorized temple of Hindus !
  • It is shameful for the Government that has been elected on Hindus’ votes that such things are happening in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s Maharashtra !
Press conference held by devout Hindus

Pimpri : 25 years old and registered Shri Ganesh Mandir situated in Deluxe Chowk was branded as unauthorized and demolished by PCMC without giving any prior notice. The demolition was carried out in the night of 24th January. The temple was built before 2009 and under whose political pressure, it was demolished needs to be declared by Municipal Commissioner Dinesh Waghmare; besides re-constructing the same or granting necessary permission for its re-construction, was the demand made by representatives of various pro-Hindu organizations during a press conference held on 25th January at Gharonda Hotel. ‘Hindutvavadis’ viz. Shri. Kunal Sathe, ‘Gou-rakshak’ Shri. Nitin Vhatkar, temple committee’s Shri. Ganesh Chandanshive, Shri. Deepak Mandhare, Shri. Pappu Kambale and Shri. Parag Gokhale of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) were present on the occasion.

Shri. Nitin Vhatkar said, “The State Government’s Urban Development Department had issued an order for demolition of unauthorized religious places by December 31, 2016 which were built after 2009. A list prepared by PCMC giving 138 unauthorized religious places constructed after 2009 was published in newspapers but the reason behind demolishing 25 years old temple in Deluxe Chowk could not be found. The temple was constructed by Ganesh-devotees and it was being renovated by them. Such temple has been demolished by PCMC. (Ganesh-devotees have a right to know what action the Government is going to take against the responsible administrative officers ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
