Akola (Maharashtra): Today, our society needs mothers like Jijamata who raised a child like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Today’s mothers should therefore, inculcate good values in their children right from their conception by reading holy scriptures like ‘Ramayana’ and ‘Mahabharata’. It will help the future generation to be ‘Dharmabhimani (devout)’ like ‘mawlas’ of Shivaraya. National ‘keertankar’ Yogesh Maharaj expressed the above views during a function organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to celebrate 337th ‘Coronation Day’ of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The program was held in Shiv Sena Colony and was attended by about 350 devout Hindus.
National ‘keertankar’ Yogesh Maharaj said further, “Every Hindu should forget his caste, creed and party and come together, just as a Hindu, for protection of Dharma. Every Hindu should apply ‘tilak’ before leaving the house as part of ‘Dharmacharan’. ‘Dharmacharan’ will help to awaken his love and respect towards Dharma. Today’s youth should study life history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and revolutionaries. Shri. Shrikant Pisolkar of HJS also addressed the audience.
