HJS celebrates ‘Coronation Day’ of Shivaji Maharaj at Jalgaon

Jalgaon (Maharashtra): On 24th June 2010, HJS celebrated ‘Coronation Day’ of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Jalgaon, Nandra, Kandala and Karanj. The statues of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj were garlanded by the dignitaries like H. B. P. Jalakekar Maharaj, H. B. P. Gajanan Maharaj Varsalekar and ‘abhishek’ was also done by Acharya Anilji and Pundit Shuklaji of Gayatri Parivar followed with their guidance. Mr. Sumit Sagavekar of HJS and Mr. Kishorappa Patil were the other dignitaries attending the program.

H. B. P. Varsalekar Maharaj said, “In this country, one who undergoes circumcision, becomes Muslim and one who is baptized becomes Christian but originally all of them are Hindus. Today’s politicians believe only in raising slogans which was never done by Chhatrapati. Mr. Sumit Sagavekar presented a review of HJS activities and made an appeal that all of us should try to be like ‘mawlas’ of Chhatrapati.

H. B. P. Jalakekar Maharaj said, “The politicians are creating division among communities for their selfish interest. Chhatrapati had always treated everyone equally. Today’s leaders have forgotten revolutionaries but we should not forget them.” About 100 devout Hindus attended the program. A sticker strip of HJS was inaugurated on the occasion.
