Vishva Hindu Parishad unequivocally condemns the gruesome killing of Sri Kashinath Tiwari – youth leader of the Vishwa Hindu Maha Sangh (World Hindu Federation), Nepal by armed Muslim Jihadists who shot him dead inside a temple complex at Birgunj, Nepal on June 26.

Sri Tiwari was targeted as he was one who actively campaigned for restoration of the "Hindu Rashtra" (Hindu nation) status of Nepal and one Jalim Miyan has been apprehended in connection with this murder", said Swami Vigyananand, Joint General Secretary, Vishva Hindu Parishad (International Coordination) in a press statement today.

Swamiji further said: "Vishva Hindu Parishad supports the demand of the Hindus of Nepal that the Nepalese Government must identify and arrest all the killers and conspirators at the earliest and give them exemplary punishment so that no other Jihadi in Nepal dares again the National Society of Nepal.

VHP also supports their demand that Sri Kashinath Tiwari should be declared a martyr as he sacrificed his life for a great cause."
