Representation submitted to local administration for prevention of wrong things happening on the occasion of ‘Valentine Day’
Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh) : Indian youth has started wrong practice followed under western culture of celebrating ‘Valentine Day’ on 14th February. Wrong things are happening like one-sided love or even violence in the name of love on this occasion; therefore, a special squad should be appointed and patrolling should be increased in school and college areas; youth teasing girls, women should be arrested, action should be taken for rash driving under influence of liquor etc were the demands made by HJS through a representation submitted to the offices of District Collector and Superintendent of Police by Shri. Yogesh Vhanmare, State Coordinator of HJS for MP and its other volunteers viz. Shri. Hemant Juvekar, Shri. Anand Jakhotia and Shri. Diwakar Kulkarni.
Drive to contact colleges at Ujjain
A drive was also undertaken by HJS under which HJS volunteers met Shri. Girish Bhalerao, the Chief Officer of ‘Lokmanya Tilak Seva Samiti’ and Dr. Manish Zala, the Principal, of ‘Future Vision College’ and submitted representations to them. They explained to them wrong things happening on the occasion of ‘Valentine Day’. This drive received positive response.
