Jalgaon (maharashtra): HJS submitted a representation to the District Collector for re-imposing the ban on a book on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj authored by James Laine since the book insults Chhatrapati. Mr. Sumit Sagavekar of HJS said on the occasion that the Maharashtra Government, which promotes seculariam, is prompt in taking action when sentiments of non-Hindus are hurt; but is indifferent towards feelings of Hindus. It should, therefore, now take a note of not only in the State but all over the country, the religious sentiments of Hindus and ban should be imposed on the book
Mr. Mohan Tiwari, the zonal-chief of Shiv Sena, HJS members viz. Mr. Mayur Sonar, Niranjan Chaudhary, Yogesh Nanavare, Vijay Sonawane, Ravindra Nanavare, Sunil Nanavare, Dhanaraj Guruji etc. were present when the representation was submitted.
