James Laine Issue: HJS submits memorandum District Collector to in Nashik

Nashik (Maharashtra): Owing to the indifference of the State Government, the Supreme Court recently lifted ban on a book by James Laine in which he has insulted Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. A memorandum demanding that the ban should be re-imposed on the said book was submitted on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to the District Collector at Nashik.

Mr. Yogesh Chavan of Shiv Sena, Mr. Mahendra Kshatriya, Mr. Rakesh Chaudhary and Mr. Swapnil Devlalikar of HJS, Mrs. Revati Bhat of ‘Ranaragini’, Mr. Harshal Salunkhe of Bajarang Dal, Mr. Rahul Patil of Sanatan Sanstha and devout Hindus, Mr. Nana Kumbhakarna and Mr. Vishal Vispute were present on the occasion.
