Maharashtra : Shivjayanti celebrated at various places

Amravati : Local residents of Takali Jahagir had organized a program on the occasion of Shivajayanti including performing ‘puja’ of picture frame of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and a lecture. The program was started with ‘puja’ of the picture-frame performed by Panchayat member Sou. Roshanitai Alaspure and Shiv Sena’s Nanabhau Nagmote. The program was attended by 200 youth members. Shri. Milind Sakhare of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) addressed the participants. He said, “Only coming together on the occasion of birth anniversaries of national leaders is not enough but we should try, by uniting as Hindus, to prevent attacks on our brethren as had happened in the past. Keeping Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as our ideal, we should make a resolve to protect Dharma following on his foot-steps.”

HJS holds exhibition of flex-boards on life history of revolutionaries and book – exhibition 

Deravali (Dist. Raigad) : A program was organized on 15th March i.e. on the occasion of ‘Shivajayanti’, the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti held an exhibition of books and flex boards on life history of revolutionaries. Shri. Prabhakar Naik the organizer and area-Chief took initiative in arranging the exhibition. ‘Shiva-jyoti’ was carried from Ekveera to Deravali; followed with inauguration of exhibition of flex-boards on life of revolutionaries. ‘Puja’ was performed of Shrikrushna’s picture-frame, lamp was lighted and a coconut was broken while inaugurating.

Shri. Manoharsheth Bhoir, Shiv Sena MLA from Uran, Shri. Raghunath Patil, area-Chief of Shiv Sena for Gulsunde, Shri. Vijay Patil, a member of Uran Panchayat Samiti, its Panvel city President Vasusheth Gharat, its Dy. District President Shirish Gharat, Shri. Rhushikesh Thakur and Shri. Sachin Pawar etc were present on the occasion. Everyone appreciated the exhibition.

55 students and 5 teachers of Chhatrapati Shivaji Vidyalaya, Palaspe also visited the exhibition; besides more than 200 local residents.
