Rourkela (Odisha) : Spontaneous response to lectures held by HJS in schools and colleges

Lectures organized at different places to explain importance of Hindu New Year

Rourkela (Odisha) – Under its drive of ‘Hindu Nava-Varsha Janajagruti 2017’, lectures were held at Vyasdev High School at Vedavyas and Gurukul Sanskrut Mahavidyalaya by Shri. Prakash Malondkar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). He explained the natural, historical and spiritual importance of Hindu New Year to students. Shri. Shriram Kane of Sanatan Sanstha gave guidance on the same topics at Saraswati Shishu Mandir and Priyadarshini High School at Kalunga. About 400 students and teachers attended the lectures from 3 schools and one college.

Shri. Prakash Malondkar was invited as Chief Guest in a program held at Kaurmunda by RSS in connection with New Year and he addressed in this program. About 60 volunteers of RSS were present on the occasion. At the residence of advocate Vibhutibhushan Palei in Rourkela, ‘Brahma-dhvaj-pujan’ was performed on Chaitra Shuddha Pratipada. Advocate Karamchand Jena attending Dharmashikshan classes was present along with his family. 1000 handbills on Hindus’ New Year were distributed at Vedavyas, Rourkela, Kalunga, Rajgangpur, Hathiwadi, Birmitrapur and Kaurmunda.
