Guru-Pournima celebrations in Karnataka by HJS

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) organised ‘Hindu Unification Meets’ at various places in the state of Karnataka. These meets got very encouraging response from the devout Hindus in Karnataka.

Ujire District

Hindu Janajarguti Samiti (HJS) celebrated ‘Guru-Pournima’ at Sree Ramakrushna Hall in a very holy atmosphere. The program was attended by 85 devout Hindus. Mr. Ashrat Hegade of ‘Jago Bharat’ organization talked about the present condition of the Nation.

Hubli District

The program was held at ‘Uttar Kannada Vaishya Samaj Kalyan Mandap’ which was attended by more than 200 devout Hindus. Shri. Gangadhar Kulkarni, a devout Hindu said in his guidance, “Our tradition of ‘Gurukul’ is completely disturbed. If the management of temples is taken over by the Government, there will be boards about weekly holiday in the temples as are displayed in any Government Office. If Sanatan Sanstha and HJS had not taken initiative, Tirupati Temple would have been converted into a church by now. We are therefore, grateful to both these organizations.” 

Udupi District

The program was held at ‘Sheshashayan’ Hall. Mr. Raghavendra Acharya, a devout Hindu was the main speaker. He released the book titled ‘ Necessary qualities for Samashti sadhana’ in Kannada. Shri. Acharya said, “I congratulate HJS members, although small in number, for their going to the people and fighting against attacks on Dharma.”

Raichur District

The function was held in Arya Vaishya Geeta Mandir. Mrs. Sushama Patange of HJS addressed the audience who was explained about denigration of national flag. The program was attended by 150 devout Hindus.

Badami District

The program was held at Sree Hemareddi Mallamma Hall in the presence of 170 devout Hindus. ‘Sattvik’ idol of Lord Ganesha made by Sanatan Sanstha was kept during the function.

Mangalore Town

The GP function was held at SDM Law College and was attended by 225 devout Hindus. The members of audience were guided by a devout Mr. Lakshmisha Gabladka.
