Passing of law against conversion will result in harming Muslims

Mumbai: If laws for prevention of conversion to other religions are approved, even other States would demand, like the State of Gujarat, to make them applicable in their States. This would harm Muslims who are majority among minority. Wasim Siddiqui, the President of State Minority Commission expressed his apprehension. He said that in future, other minority communities would be brought under the purview of Hindu religion and the very existence of Minority Commission will be in jeopardy.

Gujarat State has prepared a Bill to stop conversion to other religions as a political gimmick. In this Bill, Jain and Buddhists are included under Hindu religion. Siddiqui has contended that Gujarat Government has impinged the basic right of minorities and the Central Minority Commission and Central Government should foil such attempts.

Siddiqui has also complained that in Thane district, Christians and tribals are regularly attacked; but police is ignoring these matters. He has demanded that the Government should take stern action against the concerned. The inauguration of construction of police station at Bhiwandi was to be done in the month of Ramzan. But the Dy. Chief Minister was requested by the Muslims to postpone the program after Idd to maintain peace and harmony. Accordingly, he also agreed for the same. Siddiqui has informed that the inauguration has been postponed.

(This incident shows that Muslims can get away with anything in this country. These are the results of Congress sponsored ‘Gandhigiri’. It is futile to expect protection of this country from Muslims when there are such Dy. CMs.

Janab Siddiqui should know that Buddhists and Jains are originally Hindus. Can’t he see the attacks on Hindu religion in this Hindu country? If Hindus do not control such anti-Hindu elements, time will come that they would become a minority

The statement of Siddiqui regarding attack on Christian Missionaries directed towards Hindus. Christian Missionaries are luring Hindu tribals and forcibly converting them to Christianity. If these missionaries are stopped by Hindus, are they attacking Christians? Hindus should therefore, unite and stop anti Hindu activities. Editor)
