Solapur (Maharashtra): Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has organized a ‘Mashal (torch)’ rally with the aim of prevention of denigration of National Flags and to commemorate the revolutionaries who had sacrificed their life for the freedom of this country. The rally will be taken out on 14th  August at 6.00 p.m. on the day of ‘Undivided Hindustan Day’ carrying torches. The above information was given by Mr. Yashpal Wadkar of HJS in a press conference held at ‘Shramik Patrakar Sangh’ today at 11.00 a.m. Mrs. Rajashree Tiwari of ‘Ranaragini’, Mrs. Kalpana Redekar, the Principal of Sonamata School and Mr. Das Shelake, the President of ‘Kshatriya Maratha Mahasangh’ and other 15 journalists attended the conference.

Mr. Wadkar said further, “The rally will begin from the residence of a great revolutionary, Dharmaveer V. R. Patil from Ganapati Ghat, in his remembrance and will be taken through the areas like Datta Chowk, Navi Peth, Mechanic Chowk, Saraswati Chowk culminating at ‘Char Hutatma Chowk’. The statues of 4 martyrs will be garlanded paying obeisance to them. The program will end with singing of ‘Vande Mataram (all stanzas)’. An appeal has been made on behalf of HJS to all devout and patriots to join the rally in large number.

Ranaragini warns of agitation to Convent Schools if they prohibit Hindu students from following Dharmacharan

The Constitution of India has conferred right to every citizen of this country to follow his Dharma and nobody can put a ban. The minorities cannot impose ban on Hindu students studying in their schools. In some Convent Schools, Hindu students are banned from applying ‘kumkum’, wearing bangles, anklets or tying ‘raakhis’ etc. which has created intense rage among Hindus. Mrs. Rajashree Tiwari of ‘Ranaragini’, a branch of HJS said that agitation will be held if such things happen in Convent schools from Solapur.

Mrs. Tiwari said, “The Supreme Court has given a verdict in many cases that nobody can stop anyone from following ‘Dharmacharan’. In a secular country like India, opposing Hindus, who are in majority, is against the principle of secularism and in such cases, the schools will be taken to Court for contempt of the Constitution.
