Shravan Shuddha Chaturthi, Kaliyug Varsha 5112

HJS had organized ‘Hindu unification meet’ in a State. On the following day police from the Investigation Bureau went to the residence of a Activist of HJS to inquire about him when his brother was present. The following conversation took place among them.

Police: Is this the residence of (takes name of the Activist)?
Activist’s brother: Yes; but who are you?
Police: I have just come (enters the house and sits)
Brother: Why have you come?
Police: I have come to make inquiry. (Refers to the name of the Activist and another Activist), Are not they always together ?
Brother: Yes
Police: I want (refers to the Activist) his contact number.
Brother: I will not give; you can talk to him when he comes.
Police: (Taking name of another Activist) Where is his house?
Brother: I do not know. You ask everything to him (takes name of the Activist) only.
Police: Are you in Sanatan Sanstha?
Brother: No
Police: OK, I will wait till he comes. (Police wait for the Activist to come and the brother goes out)

(After some time, the Activist returns home. The following conversation took place between them.)
Activist: Who are you?
Police: I am from Investigation Bureau.
Activist: What is your name? (The policeman tells his name.)
Activist: From which place have you come? (He tells the name of place.)
Activist: Can you show your Identity Card?
Police: I cannot show that.
Activist: I am sorry but I want to see that.
Police: In that case, I will show you my I card (He shows his I card)
Activist: OK, now we can talk.
Police: What activities of Sanatan Sanstha are going on here?
Activist: Here only activities of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti are going on and not of Sanatan Sanstha.
Police: Has HJS been registered here? Is there any centre of HJS here?
Activist: Here along with me there is only one more Activist. How can we register and have a center here?
Police: Who is the chief of Samiti? (Activist tells name of one another Activist)
Police: How do you know him?
Activist: I had gone to the Hindu Dharmajagrtui Sabha held at (gives name of a place) when there was a flex displayed at the meeting; and there I met him.
Police: Is he the President of the Samiti?
Activist: No
Police: Do Mulsims know you?
Activist: We have no activities there and don’t know any Muslims. Why are you asking such question? Has anyone lodged a complained against us?
Police: No, No, I just asked.
Activist: How did you find me?
Police: I came here when somebody told me that one HJS member was staying here, therefore, I came to meet you.
Activist: How did you get my address?
Police: I found out. If you work with RSS, won’t you reach to more people?
Activist: All organizations work together.
Police: If you work with a big organization, more people will come to know about you.
Activist: Yes.

Police: What activities of HJS are going on here?
Activist: Nothing. We are only two persons here, therefore, nothing much is going on.
Police: There are many things kept here. What are those?
Activist: There was a program held here yesterday to start satsang. All these things are related to that.
Police: From where did you get these things? (Activist gave one person’s name )
Police: How many people attended that program?
Activist: There were 70 people; out of whom 40 were children.
Police: Who was the speaker in yesterday’s program? (Activist told the name of another Activist.)
Police: What else was there in the program?
Activist: There were ‘flex’ boards giving ‘Dharmashikshan’. (W then told the police about ‘Dharmacharan’ for 10 minutes. How to do ‘namaskar’, take circumambulation in temple etc. )
Police: This is all very good.
Activist: Nowadays, nobody feels anything towards Dharma. Hindus do not come together. Everyone is under the influence of western culture. I do not have much time, therefore, I do not give more time for Samiti. Everyday I work and earn and thus manage life, therefore, I am unable to give more time.
Police: How did you get money for this program?
Activist: We go for door to door ‘prachar’ and get donations of Rs. 5-10/- out of which this program was held. We get donations but nobody is interested in attending programs.
Police:
(There was a stand to display Sanatan books; police saw that and said) How this Sanatan Sanstha’s stand is here?
Activist: Yesterday, some Sanatan’s books were brought in the program. The books are on spirituality, Dharma etc. They brought this stand but the program got over late and they left it here.
Police: Do you have any circular for yesterday’s program (takes name of one language) ?
Activist: No.
Police: Where all in the State, HJS work goes on.
Activist: I do not know.
(Finally, the police took down the contact nos. of this Activist and another Activist. He was at this Activist’s place for about 2-1/2 hours.)
