Protest: Grave denigration of Draupadi by Reliance Communications

Appeal to devout Hindus

Reliance Communications has denigrated Sati Draupadi by sending vulgar SMS about Draupadi to all its customers. Sati Draupadi is highly revered by Hindus. It is duty of all Hindus worldwide to protest lawfully against Reliance Communications to stop such vulgar SMS denigrating Hindu Icons and also it should apologise to all Hindus for hurting their religious sentiments.

Following SMS is being sent by Reliance Communications:

Teacher showing a Condom,
‘What is This ?’
Student – ‘Condom !’
Next day teacher showing a Surgical Glove,
‘What is this ?’
Student – ‘This is Draupadi Condom.’

Extreme denigration of Draupadi (Queen of Pandavs) through vulgar SMS by Reliance

Complaint registered by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti with the police for hurting their feelings!

An extremely denigrating message in English (SMS) is being sent to all the Reliance subscribers/customers by ‘Reliance Communications Ltd’. The derogatory message is regarding Draupadi, Queen of Pandavs, revered by Hindus. (Any Company dares to denigrate Hindus’ revered things as they are not united and they do not have ‘Dharmashikshan’. There is no need to comment upon those who belong to other faiths as one can imagine very well that if there was denigration concerning their faith what extreme step they would have taken. The anti-nationals feel free to act against the Hindu faith as Hindus do not react and express their fury like them ! – Editor SP) Mr. Dhananjay Kalunge of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) getting the said message got furious and lodged a complaint in Niphad the police station protesting against the ‘Reliance’ company for hurting his feelings with respect to his Dharma. (Congratulations to Mr. Dhananjay Kalunge for taking a lawful step in opposing the denigration of his faith! – Editor SP)

Police registered the complaint as a non-cognitive offence as per Indian Penal Code 298. (O, Hindus remember, in this secular country the offence committed hurting the feelings of Hindus is non-cognitive! Is it possible to stop degradation of Dharma in this way? There will not be such laws in Divine Kingdom ! – Editor SP) It has been mentioned in the complaint that it is customary for ‘Reliance’ to send the messages on mobile number 58888 like this. This message too is sent on this number only. What purpose would be achieved by small girls, boys, women and youths by receiving this message? It is quite possible that such messages might cause degradation in their moral values and create hatred in the mindset of the receivers of the message about Bharatiy culture. I being a Hindu this message has hurt my feelings in relation to Dharama, hence I am lodging this complaint. ‘Reliance should apologise to all Hindus.’

Apathy of Reliance towards Hindus’ feelings !

Mr. Sunil of ‘Reliance, Pune, said when contacted, “We have not received any information regarding the complaint being registered against us by the Nashik police (The complaint was registered at Nashik). This SMS 58888 was sent by ‘India Times’ call centre. We are not accountable to the SMS sent by this call centre.” One of the female employees from the same office too denied any such information being received there. No one responded to any of the several calls made on 012-44187288.
