Jalgaon: Total fiasco of ANS drive advocating donation of ‘nirmalya’

Bhadrapad Krushna Pratipada, Kaliyug Varsha 5113

Chopda (Dist. Jalgaon, Maharashtra) : Andha-shraddha Nirmulan Samiti (ANS) and Maharashtra Vivek Vahini (MVV) were propagating that ‘nirmalya (flowers offered to God)’ immersed in water along with the idols of Sri Ganesh cause pollution of water and they undertook a drive for donation of ‘nirmalya’.  Their drive, however, turned out to be a total fiasco at Chopda. ANS had set up stalls on the route of immersion processes and its members were requesting Ganesh-devotees to donate the ‘nirmalya’ when members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) viz. Mr. Yashawant Chaudhary, Mr. Kishore Dusane, Mr. Sudhakar Rajput and Mr. Anil Patil were explaining the spiritual science behind immersing ‘nirmalya’ in flowing water. As a result, the devotees were immersing the ‘nirmalya’ on Sri Ganesh idols in flowing water only. (Congratulations to Ganesha-devotees who responded to the appeal made by HJS for immersing ‘nirmalya’ in flowing water as per Dharmashastra ! – Editor SP)
